After two failed wedding attempts (you might remember a thing called COVID), we just went ahead and got married back in 2020. We were really into each other and couldn't wait. Leaving the big celebration with all our friends and family behind.
The good news is that we are still really into each other and on what will be on our sixth wedding anniversary, we’re finally throwing the party we never got to have. Hopefully with all of you.
No big ceremony. No stress. Just celebration.

That is your own and we recommend you have a good feed before arriving as food won't be served till about 4pm
Arrive at The Dolphin Inn where we have a pub full of drink awaiting you, a garden with live music and hopefully some sunshine
We have put some money behind the bar to get everyone started - when that dries up, it will go to a paid bar.
Ivy needs her walk down the aisle moment in front of all her friends and family. Then we will do some short vows. Done. Onto the party.
We will have laid on food for you, food you'd expect from a pub garden. We will have some speeches as is customary and we don't need an excuse to have another amazing cake from Aunty Mary
More live music before we dance and drink the night away
More live music before we dance and drink the night away
We haven't asked for this yet but if we get them enough bubbly I am sure they will say yes
For those that fancy it....
This is where we actually got married in 2020 - so we thought it would be a nice way to end the weekend for those that fancy it before heading home.

We had originally planned to get married in Opava, Czech Republic but decided it might be a little too adventurous for most of our guests (both time- and wallet-wise). So instead, we thought it only right to celebrate in Kingston — the place where we actually tied the knot and somewhere that means a lot to us.
The Dolphin Inn is especially close to our hearts — it’s where we ended up having our unplanned wedding breakfast, sitting on a bench in our wedding gear, just the two of us. So it feels like perfect symmetry to come back here and finally celebrate properly, with all of you, as part of the original story.
Summer garden party vibes (with a touch of Alice in Wonderland — think Mad Hatter’s tea party, not royal wedding). Wear whatever makes you feel good (but maybe leave the jeans at home). Kids are very welcome, and we’ll have plenty of space for them to run around. Just one small request: please avoid wearing white… the bride’s earned her moment.
Your presence is the only present we need, truly. We’ve waited six years to throw this party and having you there means everything. That said… we’re not going to be those people who say “absolutely no gifts” and then act surprised if one shows up (sorry, not sorry). If you do feel like being generous, we won’t stop you but please know there’s zero expectation.
Kingston is a beautifully remote spot in Devon, so we’d recommend booking accommodation early. There are plenty of great options nearby — from cosy Airbnbs and holiday cottages to hotels and inns in surrounding towns like Modbury and Kingsbridge, both just 15–20 minutes away. We are investigating arranging minibus runs to and from the Unwedding where possible. However, we would recommend you book with an eye on thinking about car pooling, group taxis and designated drivers too though.
If you’re thinking about making a weekend (or even a week) of it, the area is perfect for a mini escape. We’re a stone’s throw from some of Devon’s best beaches — Bigbury-on-Sea and Wonwell are just down the road, offering stunning coastal walks, swims, and sandy spots to unwind. It’s a great excuse to turn The Unwedding into your own little holiday.
I am sure you can just WhatsApp us but here is a way to do it on the website too
